i have recently been reading from the watchman.com site.
while this forum questions some w.t.
teachings, it nevertheless defends it vigorously.
My take on it is that the owner of the site is portraying the site as JW friendly just so that a JW with some doubts will let their guard down and view some material at his site.
Once a faithful JW actually realizes what a farce the WTS is by viewing some of the material there I think it is only an inevitability that they will leave "Jehovah’s earthly organization".
Trust me on this, a JW would be hard pressed to carry on indefinitely in the organization knowing all of the lies the WTS has told the R&F
Therefore I think the owner of the site probably doesn’t believe all of the hype he writes about the WTS. It’s a smokescreen, and he’s operating with a hidden agenda. IMHO his real objective is to awaken R&F JW’s to the truth and then to have them leave the WTS. Theocratic warfare at it’s finest, I guess the WTS has taught him well.

Ya, it’s called a meeting bag.
Actually for now it’s too damn funny to get me really mad. I just sit back and in my mind I’m laughing my ass off at the shat that is said at the meetings. Plus I have a lot of friends there. But I am really keeping my sanity for the sake of my dear wife. If I lose it, I’m going to lose her I’m afraid, so I gotta play my hand right.
I’ll have to remind myself to ask around Thu for that magazine. I’m trying to build a case for my new found truth by using information that can only be found at our KH. That way when the bag hits the fan, at least I’ll have a sound case to present to the brothers if it ever comes down to it.

I’m glad so many have found this of interest. It is still fascinating to me reviewing the DC in retrospect, especially in comparison to past DC’s I thought we so unbuilding.

You analysis of the WTS methods of what constitutes a lie is so sad, but true. But to put a positive spin on this, the WTS methods gives me courage when the day finally comes and I get asked if I am an apostate or have talked with apostates, I can so no. But in my head I will be thinking, "Not unless I can count the JW’s!" HA!
RE the Transfiguration, believe there wasn’t any deep analysis of it. it boiled down to this:
The Transfiguration was real enough for Peter to have him ask if he should pitch tents for Jesus, Moses & Elisha.
this spurred the disciples on to be more zealous in their ministry after Jesus death.
we today have seen the fulfillment of the Transfiguration since 1914. So we should be spurred on to get off our asses and preach more, telephone people at their homes, in checkout lines at stores, at parking lots, yada, yada, yada.
That was the full depth of the analysis. the bottom line was of course for us to DO MORE.

BTW, you will really like Day 2. It had the "Apostate" talk. It was unreal. Even my wife and others were amazed on how the material was presented. It was Bro. West that gave the talk. He used "voices" as he imitated how an "apostate" talked to unsuspecting JW's. And the hate machine was running at full power as the WTS spewed it's hate on anyone who questioned them. It was truly sad. I think that if a new one was in th audience, they quite likely would have been turned off by the talk.
